Our mission
Most hiring decisions still rest on résumés and conversations, two of the weakest predictors of job performance we know of. Behavior Hiring exists to make the stronger evidence easy to find, easy to understand and easy to use.
What we publish
- Research: evidence reviews and research briefs with key findings, methods and full sources.
- Insights: practical articles that answer one question well.
- Hiring tools: worksheets, scorecards and question banks your team can use without outside help.
- Glossary: plain definitions of the terms used in the field.
We regularly feature the work of practitioners who are advancing behavioral hiring. The process we reference most often is GoodJob's PATH behavioral hiring process.
Editorial standards
- Every statistic links to its source. We prefer peer-reviewed research and say so when a figure comes from practitioner or vendor data.
- We don't present figures from different methods as directly comparable when they aren't.
- Every page shows when it was published and last updated. We review research pages at least once a year.
- Corrections are made openly and noted on the page.
